I wanted the smallest flower I could still show clearly: forget-me-nots in clusters of three, blue petals around a yellow eye, spread evenly over a white ground.
About seventy clusters fill each tile, all of the same little flower, so from a step back the wall becomes an even blue texture rather than a scattered bouquet. The palette is only forget-me-not blue, yellow and a touch of green, printed flat with clean outlines. I picture it in a nursery with white furniture, or in a small bedroom under the eaves.
