Tiny Bouquet Toss
Pale Pink

I wanted a wall that looks as if it has been showered with posies: tiny mixed bouquets of roses, forget-me-nots and daisies, each tied with a white ribbon bow, on a pale pink ground.

Each repeat holds about twenty-four bouquets, tossed at varied angles, their ribbon ends fluttering. Rose, blue, cream and sage in flat gouache-style colour, crisp edges and a slightly naive line, no shading. I imagine it in a dollhouse dressing room beside a little vanity, and it is pretty in a bedroom or a nursery too.
