I wanted a light, cheerful take on the fifties: boomerangs, starbursts and small ovals scattered over a cream ground, like a page from a mid-century pattern book.
Around forty shapes are tossed across each tile in a half-drop, so the motion never lines up into rows. Teal, coral and charcoal are printed flat on the cream, which keeps a small room bright. I see it in a dollhouse bedroom or a sunny mid-century living room.
