I wanted a harlequin that feels gentle rather than bold: diamonds in two blues, with a tiny white four-petal flower sitting at every point where they meet.
Mid-blue diamonds alternate with the pale blue ground across the whole wall, and the little flowers stitch the grid together. It keeps to a small palette, in flat colour with clean outlines, like a printed paper. I picture it in a nursery with a white cot, or in a bedroom that wants pattern without fuss.
