Cherry Toss
Retro Pink

For this colourway I wanted cherries with a wink of retro kitchen charm: the same pairs on their stems, one leaf each, now tossed over a warm retro pink.

Some thirty pairs tumble across each tile in a half-drop toss, never falling into lines. Cherry red and green sit on the pink with a little white, in flat colour with crisp edges and a slightly naive gouache touch. I see it in a dollhouse kitchen with a chrome-edged table, a red kettle on the stove and a checked floor.
