I wanted the floor of a Parisian salon: oak planks cut at 45 degrees at both ends, meeting point to point in a chevron that runs unbroken from wall to wall.
Each repeat holds twelve planks in two columns, one leaning left and one leaning right, six steps high, with the points lined up in straight rows. The wood is golden oak, honey and light brown, with a satin finish, a fine natural grain and hairline joints. I see it in a salon with tall windows, a dining room or an entrance hall.
