Bunnies & Painted Eggs
Pastel

I wanted an Easter paper as gentle as a spring morning: little sitting rabbits and decorated eggs with simple stripes and dots, on a pale mint ground.

Rabbits and eggs take turns in staggered rows, facing alternate ways, with plenty of mint between them so each shape stays bold and easy to read. Pastel pink, butter yellow, sky blue and white are laid in flat colour with crisp edges and a slightly naive brush, like a gouache illustration. I see it in a dollhouse nursery for Easter, or in a kitchen where the eggs are waiting on the table.
