Fern Frond
Olive on Cream

I wanted a botanical that behaves like a stripe: tall fern fronds and slim willow leaves rising in rows up a cream wall, in olive and moss green.

The fronds alternate direction from one row to the next, so from across the room they read as soft vertical stripes, and up close they turn back into leaves. Less than half of the tile is covered, which gives the cream ground room to breathe. It is printed flat with clean outlines in just two greens. I picture it in a dollhouse bathroom, a narrow hallway or a conservatory full of plants.
