I wanted a green wall that feels like walking past a fern bank: tall fronds and slim willow leaves standing in rows on a soft sage ground.
From one row to the next the fronds flip direction, so the eye reads gentle vertical stripes before it finds the leaves. Cream and a deep green are the only two colours on the sage, printed flat with clean outlines and no gradients, and a little more than half of the ground stays open. I see it in a dollhouse bathroom, along a hallway or in a small conservatory.
