Halloween doesn't have to be black and orange, and for this colourway I wanted it pink: the same little smiling ghosts with round black eyes, floating between tiny stars and crescent moons on a dusty blush ground.
Around nine ghosts share each tile, placed in a half-drop so every row steps down and the ghosts face alternate ways, each one kept apart by open pink space. Beside the pink there is only white, charcoal and mustard, in flat colour with clean edges and a slightly naive gouache feel. This one belongs in a dollhouse bedroom, or in a nursery that likes its Halloween sweet rather than spooky.
