I wanted a bathroom wall that feels like looking into a rock pool: branching coral and small fronds of seaweed on a cream ground.
About fifteen motifs are spread over each tile in a half-drop, leaving plenty of cream between them so the room stays light. Coral pink and teal are laid flat with crisp edges and a slightly naive brush, like gouache. I see it in a dollhouse bathroom beside a clawfoot tub.
