I wanted a wall that makes a child smile: bright toucans peeking out between big monstera leaves, on a clean white ground.
The emerald leaves cover about 60 % of the ground, and the toucans bring in black, orange and yellow. I kept a flat gouache look, with crisp edges, flat colour, a slightly naive touch and no shading at all. The design is laid out as a half-drop. I picture it in a dollhouse playroom, and it would bring the same cheer to a sunroom.
