I wanted Ticking Stripe to look like the paper you'd find in a real farmhouse: one broad French-blue stripe between two fine pinstripes, repeated on an off-white linen ground.
The stripes run perfectly upright with crisp edges, and the off-white ground carries a faint linen weave. It suits a farmhouse kitchen, a bedroom or a nursery, anywhere a calm stripe should do the work.
